“The Donlin Gold project is a vital opportunity for Calista Corporation, its shareholders, and the Yukon-Kuskokwim communities. We fully support the project because our region needs economic development that preserves subsistence resources and provides jobs and training for our youth. This land has been stewarded by Central Yup’ik and Athabascan peoples for generations, and Calista remains committed to responsible development that honors our legacy. The Donlin Gold project will generate revenues for Calista and valuable jobs for our shareholders, allowing our people to stay in the region and support their families while sustaining their way of life.”

ABOUT Donlin Gold
The Donlin Gold project is located on private Native land selected by Calista Corporation (“Calista”) and The Kuskokwim Corporation (TKC) for its long-term mineral economic potential more than five decades ago. Donlin Gold LLC holds life-of-mine agreements with Calista, the regional Alaska Native Corporation that owns the subsurface mineral rights and some surface land rights, and TKC, which represents 10 villages and owns most of the surface land. These lands and rights were conveyed to Calista and TKC under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA), landmark legislation passed by the U.S. Congress. Donlin Gold LLC works in close partnership with both ANCSA corporations to support and invest in local communities across the region.
