2024 People Performance

For the 2024 Donlin Gold site work program, nearly 44% of the direct hires by Donlin Gold LLC were Alaska Natives from 10 villages in the Y-K region. This reflects a decrease from the 80% of direct hires who were Alaska Natives from 18 villages in the Y-K region in 2023. It’s important to highlight that this change aligns with a smaller field program and a reduced overall workforce at the Donlin Gold site in 2024. Additionally, in 2024, Donlin Gold welcomed 1 new hire for a total workforce of 34 employees, with 71% being male and 29% female. Among these hires, 3% were aged 30 and under, 56% were between the ages of 31-45, and 41% were over the age of 45.
